Abe Hamadeh, the popular AZ Attorney General candidate who lost in 2022 by just a few hundred votes, appears poised to be the shoo-in replacement for veteran congresswoman Debbie Lesko (R-CD8). His latest endorsement, by former AZ State Senator (R-LD5) and past Chair of the AZ Republican Party, Dr. Kelli Ward, follows several Republican power players already expressing support for Hamadeh.

In a tweet earlier today, Ward cited Hamadeh’s military service and conservative bonafides as prima fascia evidence that Abe will “save American liberty & freedom and get this country back on track.”

“Abe Hamadeh is a relentless fighter who knows what this moment means for the future of our country,” Ward wrote, “and that’s why I’m proud to endorse his campaign for Congress. @AbrahamHamadeh is a veteran who served overseas and a former prosecutor. He’s a champion for honest elections. He never quit when challenging the fiasco we all witnessed in November 2022. I know Abe is going to give everything he’s got to make sure the people of #Arizona’s 8th Congressional District are represented by a strong, conservative, happy warrior. Get on Abe’s team now and help him continue what he began as a military officer – help him to save American liberty & freedom and get this country back on track.”

Hamadeh, who lost his bid for Arizona’s top cop position by just 280 votes out of 2.5M cast, continues challenging the election results due to compelling evidence that the final count was skewed. In fact, of all the 2022 election challenges, including those filed by Kari Lake and Mark Finchem, Hamadeh’s was the only case allowed to proceed. The presiding judge praised Hamadeh for his reliance on hard evidence rather than hearsay, and some have invoked his tenacity and matter-of-fact style as reasons for supporting his run for Lesko’s solidly Republican seat.
