Exclusive: Medical Records Prove Tucson Trump Rally Eye and Skin Injuries

Rally attendees provide medical records proving yet unexplained eye and skin damage

On 9/18/2024, the Arizona Globe reported that a group of “Latinos for Trump” suffered unexplained eye and skin injuries at the Trump Rally last week at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall. These injuries occurred to a small group who were seated behind and to the left of President Trump on the stage. The ailments came on the heels of a vicious verbal attack on Trump and rally attendees by Pima County Supervisor Adelita Grijalva.

Several of the Latino Trump supporters spoke directly to The Arizona Globe, detailing their injuries. The group included Mayra Rodriguez, a prominent activist and famed Planned Parenthood whistleblower, who was among those treated for red skin, blurry vision, and irritated eyes. Rodriguez, who has been a vocal pro-life advocate since exposing misconduct within Planned Parenthood, experienced some of the most severe symptoms after the rally.

Several other attendees detailed similar medical concerns, including blurred vision, severe eye pain, and facial swelling. All affected individuals were seated on the side of the stage where Trump made his entrance. This issue first came to the Arizona Globe’s attention after an online prayer group member posted a prayer request for rally attendees who had become ill.

Many of these Trump supporters were reluctant to share their experience with the media, hoping for a thorough investigation to occur first. However, to date, they have not heard from the Music Hall. Many stressed concerns that something like this could happen again.

The Arizona Globe obtained exclusive medical records from two attendees: one doctor prescribed eye drops to an attendee to treat a “diffuse chemical abrasion.” Another attendee’s record confirmed a “bilateral ocular chemical burn.”

A meeting of some of the injured Trump supporters is scheduled for this afternoon with Arizona Globe reporter Christy Kelly to share their experiences and demand further scrutiny from the Linda Ronstadt facility. The music hall nor the Tucson police have not responded to our repeated requests for information.

This remains a developing story.
